The Old Vinyl Factory

Informed by a combination of her Guyanese father’s love of blues, her Uncle’s record collection and internet research sessions from her Croydon bedroom, 19 year-old Sabiyha Rasheed developed a taste in American folk music that went against the grain of her rap and grime loving school-friends. Poetic and otherworldly, the result is a sound that’s unique but possessed by the vinyl era.
